Before I came to the industry, I never know what insurance is all about. Infact, I always felt insurance agents are money/blood suckers who takes away money whenever and wherever they can. However, all these changed my thoughts right after I joined Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) in 2005.

I received many interview calls right after I finish my army. Most of them are from insurance companies. I was really wondering if there are really so much vacancies in a market downtown so I decided to give a try in insurance industry.

I went for an interview in Fuji Xerox Towers, it amazes me how soon I am going to dawn on ties, long sleeve shirts and jackets. When I reached an insurance agency, it could actually be so empty on a Tuesday morning, I started to have even more doubts, when the manager’s daughter whom is around 6 years old came up to me with a cup of water.

However, I changed my mind after going to the next interview when I was introduced to Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) by a friend of mine. I went up the lifts and was impressed by the image of the company at first sight. I was impressed even further when I saw the scenery where I was showed around the office. I told myself that this got to be the place where I want to start building my career.

The beginning was difficult when I couldn’t handle cases after cases, but the management team was always there to help me. Eventually after all the coaching given, I felt like I am treated like a family. That is why I’m here and still here after 4 years. Thank you Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®).
